URGENT!
We need a republican state that does not subvert itself by imposing class distinction as a system. For peace and development, the system can no longer afford to continue to confer relevance on the basis of birth, religion and ethnicity for example. We must create a system where what is good for the rich is good for the poor, where no one on the basis of the position he or she occupies deny the generality of the people the benefit of the wealth of the country.
We urgently need a system where Justice must be seen to be taking care of the corrupt, murderers, election riggers, traffic offenders and their likes.
Nigeria must have a long term template for development, not trial and error.
I believe these were the reasons Nigerians elected president Buhari. It was on the ground of purposeful leadership devoid of ethnic and religious sentiments, grounded in the spirit of nationalism and evoked with the purity of intention.
